Network Engineer - SDWAN Technologies

Job Description : Experience : - 2-6 Years - Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Experience with SD-WAN technologies and tools. - Familiarity with circuit monitoring tools and techniques. - Strong communication skills for effective ISP coordination. - Ability to generate and analyze technical reports. Job Purpose : Network Engineer Level I (NOC) will assist in monitoring, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure solutions to support the organization`s customers. The Engineer will work under the supervision of more senior team members to analyze business needs, recommend solutions, and ensure the successful implementation and ongoing management of Operations and Infrastructure services. Essential Functions : Circuit Monitoring : - Monitor network circuits for performance and availability. - Identify and escalate circuit outages or degradations. - Coordinate with ISPs for circuit provisioning and maintenance. ISP Communication : - Liaise with ISPs for troubleshooting and resolving connectivity issues. - Manage ISP service tickets and ensure timely resolution. - Maintain documentation of ISP contacts and service agreements. Reporting : - Generate regular reports on network performance and incidents. - Analyze network data to identify trends and potential issues. - Provide detailed incident reports and root cause analysis. General NOC Duties : - Monitor network infrastructure and systems for alarms and alerts. - Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed. - Maintain accurate logs of incidents and actions taken. - Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex issues. - Systems management, reporting and monitoring of infrastructure and cloud services. - Experience with support of enterprise environments including hybrid configurations. - Manage the network/telecom/compute, including provisioning, configuration, and administration of services utilizing ITIL processes. - Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide end-user training and support. - Participate in project planning, testing, and deployment strategies and activities. - Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide end-user training and support. - Open and resolve incident and request tickets. - Participate in Monthly on-call rotation. - After hour and weekend activities possible - Flexible work rotation - Willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
