Job Title : Consultant - SAP PP with PLM Interface (Windchill) About Us : We are a global leader in providing end-to-end enterprise solutions, helping businesses streamline their operations and maximize their efficiency. As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant with PLM Interface expertise to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP PP (Production Planning) systems and integrating them with PTC Windchill or other PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems, enabling our clients to optimize their production processes and product data management. Role Overview : As an SAP PP Consultant with PLM Interface, you will lead the integration and optimization of the SAP PP module, focusing on production planning, Bill of Materials (BOM) management, shop floor control, and related processes. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between SAP and Windchill, or other PLM systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement customized solutions to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the implementation, integration, and support of SAP PP (Production Planning) module, ensuring it aligns with business requirements and industry best practices. - Integrate SAP PP with PTC Windchill or other PLM systems to ensure smooth data flow between product lifecycle management and production planning processes. - Design and configure SAP master data management, including materials, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and routings to support efficient production planning and execution. - Provide expertise in shop floor control, managing production orders, work orders, and production scheduling in SAP. - Customize and configure SAP PP to meet specific business requirements, including creating workflows, reports, and dashboards to monitor and manage production processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to both SAP PP and Windchill environments, ensuring minimal downtime and effective solutions. - Work with key stakeholders, including functional teams and business users, to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes in a timely manner. - Collaborate with SAP development teams for ABAP development and to create necessary interfaces between SAP PP and PLM systems. - Ensure effective documentation of configurations, processes, and technical specifications to support system maintenance and future enhancements. - Stay up to date with the latest SAP and PLM technologies to provide recommendations for system improvements and innovations. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 8 years of experience in SAP PP (Production Planning) module implementation and support. - Proven expertise in integrating SAP with PTC Windchill or other PLM systems. - Strong understanding of production planning, BOM management, shop floor control, and related manufacturing processes. - Hands-on experience in managing SAP master data such as materials, BOMs, and routings. - Extensive experience with SAP configuration and customization to meet specific business requirements. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in both SAP and Windchill environments. - Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and other consultants. - ABAP development experience and familiarity with SAP interface technologies are a plus. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with other PLM systems besides PTC Windchill. - Knowledge of S/4HANA and other advanced SAP technologies. - Experience in managing SAP integrations using middleware tools (e.g. , PI/PO, CPI). - Understanding of manufacturing execution systems (MES) and their integration with SAP (ref:hirist.tech)
