Senior Quality Assurance Specialist - Manual & Automation Testing

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Specialist with a strong background in both manual and automated testing techniques. This role is integral to ensuring product quality and involves designing, developing, and implementing test plans in alignment with Agile methodologies. The Senior QA Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards, improve testing processes, and support automation integration. Key Responsibilities : Test Planning & Strategy : - Design and develop comprehensive test plans and strategies following Agile SDLC methodologies. - Develop test cases and scenarios that cover functional, non-functional, performance, security, and scalability testing. Testing Techniques & Tools : - Execute both manual and automated tests, ensuring complete test coverage. - Stay updated on the latest QA tools and technologies, recommending improvements to enhance testing processes. - Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, and JUnit is a plus. API Testing : - Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and SOAPUI to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Cross-Functional Collaboration : - Collaborate with development, project management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure test scenarios align with business needs. - Work with business analysts and project managers to review and approve test cases and scenarios. Automation & CI Integration : - Support the automation of test case traceability by integrating Continuous Integration (CI) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks. - Maintain and improve the traceability of user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases. Defect Tracking & Analysis : - Engage in exploratory testing and perform root-cause analysis on defect reports to identify potential issues. - Create detailed defect reports and dashboards to track and analyze defect trends and root causes. Quality Metrics & Dashboards : - Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor data quality, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. Qualifications : Technical Skills : - In-depth knowledge of manual and automated testing methods, including functional, performance, and security testing. - Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SOAPUI. - Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e., Selenium, Appium, JUnit) is advantageous. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills : - Strong analytical skills with experience in root-cause analysis and defect tracking. - Ability to develop effective test strategies and explore issues through exploratory testing. Communication & Teamwork : - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, meeting deadlines effectively.
