RDK Project Manager

Experience: 10 to 13 years

Required Qualifications:

· RDK experience at least 8+ years embedded programming Strong Network concepts.

· The ideal candidate will need to have background in RDK, embedded Java, Linux systems, Yocto, networking concepts.

· Experience 5 to 10 Yrs.

· Project Management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Candidate should be able to lead delivery and architecture for Device Engineering STB, SMARTTV, OTT Devices. specific initiatives for RDK Video middleware for Media, Graphic, connectivity functional use cases with integration of backend for UI UX, Content protection and security, DBR and other VAS features.

· Excellent knowledge of Java programming in multitasking embedded environment Linux application development and POSIX standards.

· Development and device monitoring experience with DOCSIS, Passive optical network, Satellite network for WAN and Wi-Fi, MOCA for LAN is must. Deep understanding of low-level video software stack.

· Familiar with shell scripts, Jira Confluence, Git Gerrit Yocto.

· Good understanding of device drivers, low level platform software.

· Ability to quickly understand and translate product requirements into technical solutions.

· Independent with good communication and team working skills.

· Solution focused with ability to plan, anticipate issues, consider risks, and help deliver best value.

· Willing to take on challenges and adapt with changing priorities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $113,000.00 – $132,500.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
