Advisor, Indirect Taxes and Business Units Support

Job Description
We are looking for an advisor, Indirect tax and business units support who will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of BRP with indirect tax legislations in North America, including environmental taxes. In this role, you will work closely with BRP’s business units to identify indirect tax risks and/or opportunities related to its North American activities. You will also be involved in the maintenance and improvement of indirect tax processes by participating in specific technological changes related to tax calculation tools. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Ensuring that BRP complies with indirect tax legislations by working closely with BRP business units to identify opportunities and/or risks related to such laws in North America Supporting divisions / business units and other members of the tax department in handling new transactions, establishing new operational structures and handling acquisitions Closely collaborating with the business and the legal department to validate the tax aspects of particular legal agreements involving BRP Providing and organizing training to departments and/or business units on indirect taxes Assisting in establishing a tax audit strategy and management/coordination in regard to consumer taxes Assessing and communicating indirect tax issues and legislative changes Assisting stakeholders in understanding the application of indirect taxes by our IT systems YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: University degree in law or accounting and a master’s degree in taxation or equivalent degree. A minimum of three(3) years of experience in indirect taxes. Communicate fluently in English and French in both forms, written and oral. A proactive attitude, business acumen and adaptability. Comfortable working with a wide range of profiles, such as executive managers, administrative assistants and professionals of all levels. Accountable, team player, positive, curious, proactive. A marked interest for technologies, computer systems and processes.
