About the Job

As a Network Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security measures to protect the bank’s critical digital infrastructure. This role requires ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness across the organization.

• Implementing and maintaining effective network security and cybersecurity controls to safeguard digital assets.
• Ensuring all security controls meet the bank’s policies and comply with regulatory standards.
• Developing, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures related to network security and cybersecurity.
• Collaborating with the Head of Department and Senior Management to align security strategies with organizational goals.
• Enhancing cross-departmental capabilities by promoting cultural and behavioral goals related to cybersecurity.
• Performing, coordinating, and reviewing network security assessments and self-attestation programs.
• Delivering cybersecurity awareness training to employees.
• Preparing and presenting statistical data and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing compliance risks in daily operations to ensure processes and systems adhere to security standards.
• Supporting additional tasks and projects as required by senior leadership.

Skills and Experiences

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Min 2 years of relevant experience in network security or cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of and passion for computer systems and cybersecurity practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and perform well under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work seamlessly with stakeholders across various departments.

Good to have

• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are highly valued.
• Previous experience in the banking sector is an added advantage.
