Lead Python Developer

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead to guide a team of data scientists and engineers in developing and deploying machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Python, machine learning algorithms, and data analysis techniques, coupled with proven leadership and project management : Technical Leadership : - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring the use of best practices in Python programming, machine learning model development, and data analysis. - Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of machine learning models and algorithms. - Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and analytics, and evaluate their potential applicability to the team's projects. Project Management : - Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data science and analytics projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage expectations. - Track and report project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks. Team Development : - Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning. - Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Identify training and development opportunities for the team. Communication and Collaboration : - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences. - Present findings and insights to senior management and other stakeholders. - Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment and integration of data science and analytics efforts. Requirements : Experience : - At least 5 years of experience in Python Programming. - Minimum 1 year of experience working on machine learning projects. - Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams. - Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering successful projects. Technical Skills : - Expert proficiency in Python programming. - Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques. - Experience in data analysis and visualization. - Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Soft Skills : - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
