Department/Unit Summary

Join our team in a 14-bed Women's Services Unit featuring a Level 2B nursery with 6 beds and 8 bed L&D/Mother Baby Unit. With an average of 50 deliveries per month and a below-average C-section rate, our unit provides comprehensive care for expectant mothers and newborns. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment dedicated to promoting a positive birthing experience and ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and infants alike. You will also have the opportunity to cross-train in each area of this department to gain experience. This department utilizes a self-scheduling application.

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a valid RN license in NC or a compact state. Additional requirements include:

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and maintained
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year and maintained thereafter
AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within 1 year of hire and maintained thereafter
Fetal Monitoring Certification - strongly desired
