Solicitor - Private Client - (1-2 Years PQE)

My client, a reputable law firm based in Winchester, is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 1-2 years’ PQE to join their Probate department. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters, including Probate, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trusts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take Will instructions, draft Wills, and oversee execution
• Manage Power of Attorney instructions, draft documents, and ensure execution
• Handle the administration of estates, preparing necessary legal documentation including Inheritance Tax forms and obtaining Probate
• Deal with the registration of estates and Trusts for TRS
• Respond to telephone enquiries and assist clients visiting the office
• Maintain compliance and risk procedures on all files
• Conduct legal research to ensure the accuracy of advice and documentation
• Stay updated on changes in law and maintain high standards of professional conduct

Ideal Candidate:

• Solicitor with 1-2 years’ PQE in Probate and related areas
• Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach
• Ability to manage a varied caseload while maintaining professionalism
• Proactive in promoting services and attracting new business
