We have an exciting Part-time temporary role with a renowned digital publisher, who is looking for a Royalties Executive to join their team and take on a key position in managing subrights royalties! If you're passionate about publishing, numbers, and making sure authors and agents are well taken care of, this could be the perfect role for you!

As a Royalties Executive, you'll be responsible for crucial royalty management tasks, ensuring seamless royalty payments and accurate data management.

your day-to-day will include:

• Managing Subrights, Royalties, Process royalty statements, record data, and handle author payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Royalty Accuracy Checks, review incoming royalty statements, cross-reference with contracts, and verify royalty rates, leaving no room for error.
• Regular Payment Schedules, Arrange biweekly payments to authors,
• Month-End Reconciliation, Liaising with the central accounting team to close out each month's records.
• Collaborate on a Custom Data System, working with Rights and Operations teams to develop a bespoke royalties data management system.
• Track deals, monitor, track incoming royalty statements, and manage outstanding payments.
• Debt Control and Queries, Follow up on outstanding balances.

We are looking for candidates who can offer support to our clients royalties and finance operations function, ensuring accurate reporting, timely payments, and optimising subrights profitability. The Ideal candidates will have experience in royalties or finance within publishing, strong attention to detail, data management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Rights teams.
