Job Description

As Registration Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of registration of an event or multiple events.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all project elements function effectively and offer professional service to both internal & external clients. You will work independently, advising clients, delegating tasks to assigned team members and exercising independent judgement in the resolution of conflicts and issues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Determine the registration scope and create, review and edit project timelines and project plan to ensure programs are on track
  • Partner with other leads where their deliverables overlap or sit under Registration.
  • Act as the primary client and internal contact for all registration related information and issues
  • Delegate responsibilities and tasks to team members and provide ongoing mentoring
  • Create and update operational documents for team members to understand the event(s) and provide training
  • Manage registration data integrity and prepare client reporting
  • Provide a consultant type role as a “Subject Matter Expert” for the client and others in the Company
  • Manage event inboxes within service level agreements
  • Manage multiple events and event roles simultaneously
  • Handle delegate payments, supplier invoicing and related tasks, when necessary
  • Plan and manage on-site registration processes and deliverables as needed
  • Work with client, suppliers, other vendors and co-workers in multiple locations and time zones
  • Organising, ordering, and managing materials and shipment for on-site

Your Background, Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Significant level of demonstrated project management skills are required to manage both internal & external stakeholders
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills to include managing concurrent tasks efficiently
  • The ability to work off a timeline and keep the project on track
  • Strong leadership skills to manage the project team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills (phone skills, in person, e-mails, chats & IMs)
  • Detail oriented, strong organisational skills
  • Previous experience in events registration, registration platforms and familiarity with standard registration deliverables.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or Google Suite skills, especially MS Excel/Google Sheets
  • Proficient in various software applications, such as spreadsheets, databases to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports
  • Flexible working approach which will include evenings/weekends as needed and away from home/overseas as required.


Highly Desirable:

  • A good level of technical skills including database skills and comfortable working in multiple technical environments
  • Fluency or working knowledge of another European language
  • Experience within a marketing agency would be an advantage
