As the Guest Services Manager of this world renowned hotel group, you will oversee all guest operations and lead a team of Guest Service Assistants and night tea,. Through hands-on leadership, you will ensure that your team provides an exceptional guest experience that consistently meets brand and company metrics and objectives. You will coach, support, and engage your team while fostering a positive work culture focused on excellence. Additionally, you will actively seek strategies to continuously enhance the guest experience.
Guest Service Manager responsibilities include:
- Ensuring smooth and efficient operation of guest services
- Collaborating with multiple departments to enhance service quality
- Continuously innovating to surpass guest expectations
- Managing guest requests with accuracy and efficiency
- Proactively exploring opportunities to improve the guest experience
- Upholding and setting high standards of service excellence
In addition, you will lead and motivate the Guest Service team to embody the hotels company values and culture, keeping service excellence as the core focus. Through your leadership, you will nurture a sales-driven mindset within the team, optimising room and event sales while ensuring guests receive outstanding service.
Ideal Profile of Guest Service Manager;
- Bachelors degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration desirable but not essential.
- As a minimum demonstrate success as an Operational Department Manager or present the equivalent evidence of a combination of education and experience
- A strong versatile leader capable of motivating and influencing others to work to defined procedures and standards.
- Outstanding and versatile customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guests needs.
- Must speak fluent English
- Comfortable using a range of technology, including Office
- Be able to work early/late and weekend shifts between the hours of 7am - 11pm (8hr shifts)
