Test Automation Engineer

Role: Test Automation Engineer

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid, 2-3 days a week on-site)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

The Company:

A multi-national IT services organisation providing solutions to the UK engineering sector.

The role:

You will be developing, executing and managing automation test processes for bespoke software solutions. This includes building a test suite for the flagship product and ensuring the enhancements for customers are robust and high-quality.

Requirements:

• 5+ years developing on Dynamics NAV/Business Central
• 5+ years developing on Business Central using AL language
• Good knowledge of functional areas of Business Central – such as Service Management, Jobs, Sales, Purchase, Finance, HR and Inventory
• Hands-on experience in AL test automation
• Integrating AL test automation code in build pipelines
• Strong AL Development skills
• Creation of AL objects
• Experience of understanding and writing PowerShell scripts
• Background in Git/Azure DevOps
• CI/CD, branching and pipelines
