Van Driver

Grafters recruit are looking for Van Drivers for our national client based in Weybridge.

Driver will be required to turn up to local businesses and load up parcels collect bags of parcels from the stores to be returned back to he hub

Pay rates

£13.47 p/h

Monday - Friday/Saturday start times vary between 10.00am- 11.00am

As part of the team you will:

• Professionally driving and operating an allocated vehicle that is assigned by the Transport department daily while ensuring an efficient and effective collection.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report all defects which may affect the safe and efficient operation of your vehicle or equipment immediately to the office.
• Use and maintain your vehicle and equipment in accordance with the training given.
• Ensure all loads are secure and safe and follow site safety instructions at all sites.
• Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy and the Company rules including reporting any unmarked hazards, near misses or accidents and wearing the correct PPE.

Onsite assessment required, so happy for newly qualified drivers with 3 months plus to apply.

Skills & Experience Required

• A full UK driving license
• Newly qualified drivers can also apply
• Good time management and organisational skills
• very personable 'can do' attitude
• High levels of resilience and flexibility
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Commercially aware and takes pride in the quality and standard of their work
