Seeking a highly technical credit risk professional for this new role

Your new role

As the subject-matter expert in credit risk, you will take on a strategic role within the organisation, driving key initiatives to safeguard the firm's financial health while supporting business growth. You will lead the charge in performing detailed credit reviews and risk assessments for a diverse portfolio of clients, including financial institutions and wealth management entities. Your expertise will be crucial in drafting and refining risk management policies, ensuring they are not only compliant with regulatory standards but also aligned with the firm's forward-looking objectives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll act as a trusted advisor, guiding the business to make informed decisions that balance risk with opportunity. This role offers the chance to influence the firm's risk strategy and work in an environment where your insights and contributions are highly valued.


What you'll need to succeed

In order for you to succeed, you will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accountancy, Economics or related field. Professional qualifications such as FRM or CFA will be a plus point
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in credit risk management within the financial services industry, specifically in FI or wealth management sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of credit principles, risk management policies, and experience with Global Markets or Wealth Management businesses.
  • High proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Bloomberg systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels
