Job Description
Job Title: Year 3 Teacher
Location: Barnard Castle and Surrounding Areas
Empowering Learning are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teachers to work in primary settings in and around the Barnard Castle area.
Key Responsibilities:
Advising staff on individual pupil needs and developing tailored learning plans.
Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Create a positive and nurturing environment that promotes pupils' emotional well-being and self-confidence.
Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage pupils and enhance their learning experience.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to families, colleagues, and pupils.
Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the wider school community.
Provide accurate administration support related to pupil progress and data.The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of special education.
Demonstrate proven experience working with pupils within Year 3.
Hold a degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Be passionate about promoting pupil well-being and helping every child reach their potential.
Have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum objectives and expectations.
Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils.
Be patient, empathetic, resilient, and proactive in overcoming challenges.
