Product Development Engineer

A specialist equipment manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are looking for an experienced Product Development Engineer to work on a new wave of company products. This company supply cutting-edge equipment & one-off solutions to niche sectors.

Youll work and report directly with the Design Director, focusing on the design & development phase from concept through to manufacture. This will include precision engineering, designing sheet metal enclosures, castings and plastic moulded parts using Solidworks 2D & 3D CAD. Youll also oversee the products testing phase for EMC and Thermal Engineering, working in the companies state of the art test labs.

This company have been operating for over 30 years and are massive advocates of progression and up-skilling their employees, meaning over a quarter of their staff in recent years have been promoted.

Product Development Engineer Requirements:

• Degree Educated in Engineering (desirable)
• 3D CAD Solidworks
• DFM - Sheet Metal Fabrications, Castings & Plastic Moulded Parts
• Prototyping
• Product Testing (EMC, Thermal, etc.)
