Security Architect (Microsoft Technologies) - Remote - Up to £75,000 per annum

We're currently seeking a highly skilled Security Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft technologies to play a pivotal role in safeguarding digital infrastructure.
The Role: As a Security Architect reporting to the Technical Service Manager, you'll be responsible for securing the core of internal and external digital operations. Working closely with clients and collaborating with the security team, you'll consult on designing custom security solutions tailored to each client's needs. Your role will ensure seamless implementation and operational security, while providing ongoing support and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Implementation: Develop and deliver comprehensive security solutions using Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Centre, and Microsoft Defender.
Security Architecture: Review and refine security architectures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Risk Management: Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Identity & Access Management (IAM): Manage IAM solutions, focusing on authentication, access control, and privilege management using Azure Active Directory.
Endpoint Security: Oversee the management of endpoint security solutions (EPP, EDR, MDM) using Microsoft Intune.
Policy Development: Establish and enforce data and application security policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Incident Response: Lead collaboration with SOC and operational teams to manage incident detection, investigation, and recovery.
Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with development, business, and operational teams to integrate security across projects and communicate concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.What We're Looking For:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience as a Security Architect or similar, with expertise in Microsoft technologies.
Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Centre, and Microsoft Defender.
Certifications: Desirable certifications include CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, Identity Fundamentals (SC-100).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Security Knowledge: In-depth understanding of network and endpoint security, IAM, and security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain or maintain security clearance.
