Job Description
Maths Tutor – Secondary Schools in Islington
Location: Islington, North London
Pay: £100-£110 per day (PAYE)
Hours: Full-time, 08:30 - 16:00 (term-time only)
We’re looking for enthusiastic Maths graduates to join secondary schools in Islington as Maths Tutors! This is an ideal opportunity for recent Maths graduates who are considering a career in education or want to make a real difference by supporting students’ learning in mathematics.
Maths Tutor - About the Role:
As a Maths Tutor, you will work closely with students, offering one-to-one and small group support to help boost their understanding and confidence in maths. You’ll collaborate with the school’s Maths department to deliver targeted support, assist with exam preparation, and adapt your approach to meet individual student needs.
Maths Tutor - Requirements:
- A Maths degree (2:1 or above preferred)
- Strong communication skills and a passion for education
- Previous tutoring experience is beneficial but not essential
- Commitment to helping students reach their potential
