QA Director / QP

Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the role of Interim Director of Quality Assurance/QP. As a recruitment partner for a prominent company in the life sciences sector, we invite you to be a part of this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, manage, and implement quality strategies aligned with corporate and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain the Quality Assurance function as an independent entity, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
* Conduct independent internal audits, follow up on observations, and implement effective CAPAs.
* Act as the primary contact for Quality Assurance inquiries at the specified location.
* Host Regulatory Authority Inspections, Client/Sponsor audits, and Quality visits as needed.
* Establish and communicate Quality Metrics, providing an accurate view of the Quality Management System.
* Authorize written procedures and documents, including amendments.
* Undertake the release of manufactured API and DP batches, ensuring compliance with parameters and regulatory expectations.
* Provide European advice and input on Quality issues and trends applicable globally.
Requirements:
* BSc degree in science or a related field; higher qualification in science desired.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in a Quality Assurance Management role.
* GMP experience in an API/Drug Product environment.
* Knowledge of current GMP guidelines and industry trends regarding data integrity.
* Ability to work independently, demonstrate leadership, and lead by example.
