Requirements:

Qualified History Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching History to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic about education and committed to student success
Ability to inspire and engage students
Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

Education:

Bachelor's degree in History or a related field
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification
Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5
Foster a love for learning and curiosity about the past
Support students in achieving their full potential
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Contribute to the school's inclusive and supportive environment
Stay up to date with educational developments and attend relevant professional development opportunities
