Learning Support Assistant – Bristol (Full-Time and Part-Time)
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) or those who need extra help to thrive in the classroom? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our team in schools across Bristol.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for children with additional needs in a classroom setting.
* Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support the learning and development of students.
* Help manage challenging behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, ensuring every child can reach their full potential.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with SEN or learning difficulties is highly desirable.
* A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to build strong relationships with both students and staff.
* A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is advantageous but not essential.
