Job Description
Albion Search are currently working with a national main contractor to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team, based out of their Leeds office. This business works on projects nationwide, within the region of £500k - £15m in project value. Typical schemes involve new commercial builds, refurbishments and office to residential developments.
You would be supported by the full team of directors, but reporting directly into a Commercial Manager with strong scope to progress throughout the business.
Ultimately you would be responsible for 2 - 3 schemes, depending on value with occasional site visits being imperative.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Main Contract final account settlement
* Cost forecasting
* Legal & Contractual compliance
* Negotiation of main & subcontractor costs
* Subcontract variation and change management
* Subcontract final account settlement
* Holding pre-let meetings
* CVR reporting
What the client offers...
* Competitive basic salary between £50,000 - £60,000

The ideal candidate would have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualifications, along with main contracting experience across commercial build/refurb/fit out.
