Electrical Team Lead

Salary: Circa £38k per annum

Location: Leeds

Metalis are currently working with a Leeds based client who design, manufacture and overhaul components for the rail industry. Our client is now looking for an Electrical Team Lead to join the Electrical department on a temporary to permanent basis, which will result in permanent contracts for candidates who complete a successful probation period.

Job Role:

Overseeing the Overhaul/Assembly of cables, harnesses and other products to the customers' requirements.
Repair, Routine Maintenance and Overhaul of electrical assemblies used in the Rail industry.
Crimping, measuring, and assembling of electrical harnesses/looms.
Testing completed assemblies to ensure functionality and reliability.
Recording and updating details of any work completed.
Writing and implementing Work instructions/Overhaul procedures.
Working to strict deadlines and time scales
Use of equipment including hand and power tools.
Supervising a small team of electrical engineers/assemblers.

Job Requirements:

Experience in an electrical assembly role,
Apprentice trained/qualified (Preferred but not essential)
Understanding of engineering drawings.
Experience with MK automated test unit (Preferred but not essential)

The Details:

Days only position
Overtime Available
Circa £38k per annum (DOE)
