Location: Ashford
Salary: £150 - £250 per day
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Long-term, Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Drama Teacher to bring the magic of theatre to life in the classroom. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to launch your career in the performing arts, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities as a Drama Teacher:
Deliver engaging and dynamic drama lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Inspire students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop key performance skills.
Plan and direct school productions, performances, and extracurricular drama clubs.
Foster a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Requirements for the Drama Teacher Role:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Specialise in Drama or Performing Arts, with experience teaching across secondary levels.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Be passionate about theatre and committed to promoting the arts in education.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
