Job Profile: Construction Logistics Manager / Supervisor
Location: North Bristol
Client: National Residential Developer
Pay Rate: £250 per day
Start Date: Immediate start available
We are seeking an experienced Construction Logistics Manager / Supervisor to join a major long-term residential development in North Bristol. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile project with years of steady work ahead, supporting one of our national clients in delivering a quality residential community.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all logistics operations on-site, including material handling, deliveries, and site traffic management
Coordinate with site teams to ensure the smooth flow of resources and materials across all phases of construction
Enforce health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe work environment
Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain efficient operations
Monitor and report on logistics progress, troubleshooting issues as they arise to keep the project on track
Requirements:
CSCS Card (mandatory)
SSSTS or SMSTS certification (mandatory)
First Aid certification (preferred but not essential)
Proven experience in construction logistics or site supervision, ideally on residential developments
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with site teams, suppliers, and contractors
