Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, based in Leyland, Preston. Competitive salary and a lot of additional earning potential. This is a permanent role based working a permanent 2 – 10pm shift.

Job Summary:

Due to multiple site projects and huge increase in orders, a highly reputable manufacturer in Leyland is seeking a skilled & experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on shift.
The mechanical maintenance engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant & facility assets and associated infrastructure.

Typical duties & responsibilities:

PPM, Reactive Maintenance on fast paced industrial machinery
mechanical Breakdowns and Repairs
Participate in continuous improvement projects, installations etc

In order to be successful

Recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
Experience of working within a continuous process or production facility.
Knowledge of working with CMMS software applications
Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive and lifecycle maintenance activities.
