Job Description
Our client is passionate about creating places that are attractive, innovative, sustainable, and safe. This is a full-time permanent role, with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Production and agreement of drainage strategies
Modelling and review of existing drainage networks
Undertaking flood risk assessments and determining effective solutions
Experience of attenuation and pollution controls
SuDS design from concept through to implementation
Drainage detail design
Stakeholder engagement
Value addition and knowledge sharing on all works
Ensuring quality control
Assisting in the estimation of works costs and bidding of new works
Job Requirements:
Chartered or working towards Chartered status in an appropriate professional body
Demonstrable experience in drainage engineering within both local authority and private sector
Skills and experience across a range of projects including attenuation, SuDS, and public realm
Knowledge within highways, public realm, and the civil engineering industry
