Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Site Manager to manage the Section 278 works in Reading over the next 6 months. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with 278 works, need to be good at the paperwork side of things to ensure correct inspections and procedures are followed, as well as safety as this is in the public domain. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure the project is delivered on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure all work meets design specifications and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
Maintain project timelines and manage any on-site challenges that may arise.
Requirements:
Previous experience with section 278 projects on highways
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
