Mid-level Java Engineer – FX & Asset Management – London (Hybrid) – £70K

We are working closely with one of our long-standing clients, a leading global player in asset management and FX trading, to recruit a talented Mid-level Java Engineer for their core trading team. Our client is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to help them further develop their cutting-edge FX trading platform. This role offers exposure to high-impact work, enabling you to collaborate with some of the top engineers in the industry while leveraging the latest technologies.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and build various components of the FX trading platform and its APIs.
• Create and maintain project documentation across various platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve live production issues as they arise.
• Support the continuity of business operations by playing a key role in the trading team.

Key Requirements:

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java.
• Familiarity with modern development practices, including TDD, CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Multithreading.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
