Senior Gameplay Engineer

This position is fully remote across Canada, Europe & USA only.

As a Gameplay Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and fine-tuning game systems and mechanics in Unreal Engine 5. Collaborating closely with designers, artists, and fellow engineers, you will help craft seamless and immersive gameplay experiences. Your work will be central to the creative process, transforming ideas into playable features through coding and teamwork.

The studio is working on an ambitious open world MMORPG developed in UE5. The game offers something for every type of player ranging from racing to combat to simply exploring the vast open world. This is a gameplay first project leveraging web3 technology designed to give the player a range of utility including use in the marketplace.

Requirements:

• Proficient in C++ with the ability to design and implement gameplay mechanics and develop supporting tools.
• Experience using Unreal Engine 4/5
• Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
