Job Description
Teacher of Drama required in Leeds to start immediately, on a long term basis to cover an operation and recovery.
Our client, based in Leeds, is looking to appoint a Qualified Drama Teacher to cover an interim role starting in November 2024. The role is ongoing whilst the permanent member of staff has an operation and recovers from this.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the full Teaching role including planning, preparation, delivering lessons, marking work and undertaking any additional responsibilities as and when required.
As a member of staff in the Performing Arts department you will be delivering KS3 and 4 Drama, both theory and practical lessons, to mixed ability classes. This position is a full-time opportunity working in school Monday to Friday.
The successful applicant will:
* Have Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent and be registered with the TRA
* Have experience teaching Drama, both theory and practical, at KS3 and 4 in Secondary Schools
* Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
* Be available 5 days a week starting from September.
