Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, a commitment to excellent customer service, and a willingness to work in a dynamic and mobile environment. As a Barista for Varo Coffee, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our tuk-tuk.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light snacks according to Varo Coffee standards.

- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about our menu.

- Operate coffee-making equipment and maintain its cleanliness and functionality.

- Handle cash and process payments accurately.

- Keep the tuk-tuk organized and clean, including regular restocking of supplies and cleaning work areas.

- Promote our brand and engage with the local community.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation and a positive working environment.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred, but not required.

- Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.

- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
