The Role
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our humanities department. You will teach KS3 and KS4 Geography, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 for the right candidate. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop creative and engaging lessons that help students connect with the world and understand the importance of sustainability, global citizenship, and environmental issues.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and potentially KS5).
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and school policy.
Support student progress and achievement, including preparation for GCSE exams.
Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to department meetings.
Participate in extracurricular activities, such as geography field trips and school events.What We're Looking For
A qualified teacher with a strong academic background in Geography (QTS required).
Passionate about Geography and committed to making the subject engaging and relevant.
Excellent classroom management skills, with a track record of fostering positive student outcomes.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
