A Day in the Life:
As a First Charge Mortgage Case Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of providing exceptional service to our customers. You’ll manage a pipeline of mortgage applications and collaborate with industry experts, contributing to our mission of financial empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Effectively manage a pipeline of first charge mortgage applications through to completion.
* Review new cases where customers have responded and underwrite cases according to lender criteria.
* Process and complete all necessary administrative tasks.
* Communicate with customers both verbally and in writing throughout the process.
* Request required information from third parties, including mortgage companies, solicitors, accountants, and surveyors.
This role offers the opportunity to take on additional duties as directed by management, encouraging team members to go beyond the core responsibilities.
Role Requirements:
Essential:
* Proven experience of working successfully to sales targets.
* Experience in an outbound call environment.
* Ability to quickly adapt to training and industry changes.
* Compliant with regulatory processes.
* Strong record of achievements across various competencies.
* Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
* Experience in a regulated finance company.
* Familiarity with the first charge mortgage market.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Experience working in a team and independently.
* CeMap Level 1 (working towards Full CeMap).
* Experience using bespoke software
