Job Description
We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller or Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator based in Leeds, initially on days moving to rotating earlies/afters later in the year. This role is using Fanuc control systems and is available immediately, on a permanent basis.
Job Title: CNC Miller or Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator
Shift: Currently working days: 6AM-2PM Monday – Friday
Rate: £16 - £18 p/h
The Job
* Operating within a precision engineering environment, working to tight tolerances.
* Producing precision components in a variety of materials.
* Using Fanuc control systems to program, set and operate machines.
* Plenty of overtime available as required paid at a time and a third.
* Working days to begin with, shifts later in the year.
Requirements
* Confident programming with Fanuc. (Manual Guide i & Macro experience advantageous, however not essential).
* Previous experience in a precision engineering environment.
* Ideally time-served (however not essential).
* The ability to interpret engineering drawings is essential.
* Some experience working with exotic materials advantageous.
* A positive outlook to the work environment.
* A good eye for detail and the ability to maintain a very high level of quality is essential.
* Keen attitude towards continuous improvement.
* Keen attitude towards personal development.
