Site Agent - Yorkshire

Job Description
I am currently working with a Yorkshire based Civil Engineering contractor who have a requirement for a permanent Site Agent, due to their increased workload on a variety of environmental schemes, such as flood defence and water treatment works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the site team, managing all on-site construction activities while ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Oversee daily site operations, ensuring the project stays on track with the established schedule and budget.
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labor to meet project milestones.
* Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications, promptly addressing any deviations or issues.
* Assist in preparing method statements and risk assessments, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Monitor and report on project progress, productivity, costs, and any potential risks or issues that may impact the project.
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role,
* In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health & safety regulations.
* Relevant qualifications in construction (HNC/HND, NVQ, or a degree in construction/civil engineering is preferred).
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is mandatory.
* Proven ability to deliver construction projects on time and within budget.
