Job Description
One of the UK's leading defense projects is seeking a Project Engineer with expertise in construction and counter-terrorism measures to join their team.
Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Primarily Remote with Occasional Site Visits (Site is Andover)
Contract Length: Initially 3 months (with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: £673.71 Umbrella
This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in civil engineering and experience applying counter-terrorism measures in a project environment.
Key Deliverables:
Provide engineering expertise on construction projects with a focus on counter-terrorism measures (CTM).
Collaborate with stakeholders, including Project Managers and technical teams, to ensure project compliance and success.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and adherence to engineering specifications.
Develop and implement engineering solutions that align with CTM protocols.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance, safety, and adherence to budget and timelines.
Key Qualifications/Skills:
Relevant qualifications in Construction, Design, or Civil Engineering.
Proven experience in project engineering within the construction sector.
Demonstrated experience applying CTM in engineering projects.
Active DV Clearance and must be a Sole UK National.
Background in public sector or defense-related projects is highly advantageous.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
