£80,000 - £95,000 + benefits

A global design studio is looking for an experienced Service and UX Design Lead to join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team focused on creating impactful, user-centred services.

As a Lead Consultant in Service/UX Design, you’ll be seen by the client project team and senior client stakeholders as a trusted expert in your field. The successful candidate will work closely with Design, Client Services, and project management leads to shape proposals and engagements, collaborating with exceptional experience design and technology teams to deliver innovative employee, customer, and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities of the Service and UX Design Lead

• Lead interaction and service design activities on projects, including client workshops, creative brainstorming, and defining design principles.

• Ensure all design work is deeply rooted in an understanding of the target audience.

• Manage design research relationships with partners and clients, collaborating effectively with internal research teams.

• Oversee all interaction and service design activities at the project level.

• Innovate and evolve service design practices, integrating external and internal expertise.

• Provide constructive feedback and direction to junior team members, accurately assessing their performance and fostering their development.

What You'll Bring as a Service and UX Design Lead

• Proven experience leading service design projects with multiple designers, managing complex design engagements effectively.

• Mastery of service design methodologies, with proficiency in relevant tools and templates.

• Comfort in collaborating with stakeholders to conceptualize and produce high-quality, detailed deliverables, including mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes, user stories, journeys, personas, and journey mapping.

• Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing junior team members to reach their full potential.

• Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, Sketch, Axure, and prototyping tools.
