(Senior) 3D Character Artist - 12-Month Contract

As a (Senior) 3D Character Artist, you’ll work with a talented Art team to create captivating, stylized characters for our latest, ambitious project. Based in our newly upgraded Guildford studio, this contract position is ideal for a character artist with a flair for creativity and a dedication to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Art team to craft detailed, stylized characters and creatures, ensuring alignment with the project’s art style and quality standards
• Handle character asset creation and manage the character modeling pipeline
• Contribute to character production, tools, and pipeline development to support efficiency and quality

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in creating AAA-quality, stylized character art
• A portfolio showcasing character design sketches with a strong sense of character and appeal
• Proficiency in Blender for sculpting stylized characters and creatures
• Excellent knowledge of character design, art, and culture
• Advanced skills in Adobe Substance and experience with character animation are advantageous
• Ability to translate 2D concepts into 3D with accuracy and flair
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently as needed
