About the role

Clevercherry have an Digital Account Manager vacancy. The ideal candidate will be a confident and assertive communicator with a keen interest in and a broad understanding of the digital landscape. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently, identifying commercial opportunities, and navigating the complex needs of various stakeholders. Your ability to prioritize tasks and deliver exceptional service to our clients will be crucial to your success in this role.

Key Accountabilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and engagement.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and drive client retention.

Project Management

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple digital projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Technical Teams to ensure all projects meet quality standards and client specifications.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks across various projects, maintaining attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.

Technical Acumen

  • While a deep technical background is not required, a solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and website architecture is beneficial for effective communication with the development team.
  • Oversee the testing and quality assurance process for digital projects, ensuring functionality, performance, and user experience meet the highest standards.

Commercial Acumen

  • Spot and capitalise on commercial opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and pitches for new business opportunities.

Stakeholder Management

  • Understand and manage the complex and competing needs of multiple stakeholders.
  • Effectively read and respond to the dynamics of a room to navigate stakeholder interactions.
  • Communicate clearly and persuasively, adapting your style to suit different audiences.
  • Strategic Input: Provide strategic input and recommendations to clients based on your understanding of the digital landscape
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform client strategies and internal processes.

Broad Understanding of the Digital Landscape

  • Conceptual knowledge of digital marketing, web development, social media, SEO, PPC, and other digital services.
  • Ability to translate complex digital concepts into understandable and actionable insights for clients.

Multitasking and Prioritization

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues before they escalate.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years previous account management experience in a digital agency or a digital role within an integrated agency
  • Ideal but not essential - Experience with project management software (e.g. Asana, Harvest, Synergist).
  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC and Social Media Management
  • Experience working on digital projects including websites, apps and campaigns
  • Demonstrable ability to manage the competing demands of multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and outgoing
  • Good attention to detail
