Full-time Assistant Housing Needs Officer, Birmingham City Centre, £12

Due to the partnership between Hays and Birmingham City Council, we are looking for 5 Assistant Housing Needs Officers to join the Temporary Accommodation Team. Your new role
As an Assistant Housing Officer, you will be responsible for under taking general administration duties and inbox management as tenants and other service areas will be reaching out via email. You will also be responsible for carrying out occupancy checks and lock changes. You may, from time to time have to deal with matters of anti-social behaviour. You will be working fully on site in the B12 0YL area, however, you will also be required to visit other sites to carry out some of your checks, meaning a full clean driving license and your own vehicle is required for this role.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this role, you will need to demonstrate good communication and good people skills, as there will be a lot of face-to-face interaction. Experience within a similar housing role will be highly beneficial and strong administration skills.This role will be an ASAP start, which before starting you will need to pass your reference, compliance, DBS and driving checks, upon registration please have your 2 most recent employment details available.
