Job Summary
Muve Homecare are looking for experienced Complex Care Assistants with experience in providing a wide range of clinical care and support for children and young people and adults.
As well as receiving an average daily rate of £168 (12hr shift) we also pay holiday pay and pension contributions.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks.
- Support clients in maintaining their daily routines and adhering to their care plans.
- Administer medication (orally or via PEG) whilst maintaining accurate records.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding any changes in client condition or needs.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
* Commitment to providing high quality, safe and effective care.
* Experience working with individuals who have complex health needs (Tracheostomy, Ventilation, Chest management, Gastrostomy and Suctioning).
* Excellent communication skills both spoken and written, to ensure clear communication with clients, families and professionals.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their family.
* Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively as well as the ability to recognising deterioration and need for escalation
* Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding.
* Confident using digital care planning systems.
* Driving license and access to own vehicle is essential.
