Role: Commercial Manager - Thames Water
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Thames Water Region

Are you an experienced Commercial Manager eager for an exciting opportunity within a key joint venture in the water industry? Our client, a leading partnership between two major contractors, is seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to oversee critical water infrastructure projects in the Thames Water region.
Responsibilities:
Lead the commercial management of water infrastructure projects from inception to completion, ensuring financial control and profitability.
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
Negotiate contracts, manage subcontractor relationships, and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Provide accurate commercial reporting, including cost management, financial forecasting, and risk analysis.
Ensure all projects align with industry regulations, client expectations, and contractual requirements.
Support the procurement process by assisting in the evaluation of suppliers and contractors.
Identify and mitigate commercial risks, while capitalising on opportunities to optimise project delivery.
Prepare commercial submissions, progress reports, and assist with project audits.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Commercial Manager, ideally within the water sector or related infrastructure industries.
Strong knowledge of contract management, financial controls, and commercial risk assessment.
Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and clients.
Relevant qualifications in commercial management, quantity surveying, or a related field (e.g., RICS, MRICS).
