Job Description
Are you passionate about early childhood education? Tradewind are looking for a nursery assistant for their pre-school on a full-time basis starting after October half term on the 4th November.
We are seeking a dedicated an experienced Nursery or Pre-school Teaching Assistant (TA) to support pre-school team in Wakefield after the October half term. You will play a vital role in helping to create a warm and stimulating atmosphere, guiding children through their early learning experiences. To qualify for this position, you must hold at least a Level 2 TA qualification, though a Level 3 qualification is preferred.
Key Details:
Start Date: Immediately after the October half term, 4th November 2024.
Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Location: A nursery school setting in Wakefield.Your Role:
Assist in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Support the lead teacher in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence, confidence, and curiosity.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to the teaching team and contributing to individual learning plans.
