C++ Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Technical Lead with 8-10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in Algorithmic/Electronic/Real-Time Trading Systems.

This is an initial 6-month contract with planned extensions, paying £550 per day inside IR35. It is a hybrid working environment with the client's office being in Waterloo.

Key Requirements:

• Expertise in C++ programming
• Proven track record in building high-performance trading systems (Hedge Funds, Proprietary Trading, Financial Institutions)
• Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a talented team of developers
• Passionate, hands-on coder, skilled in system design, performance optimization, and ensuring platform stability

The Role:

You’ll lead a team in close collaboration with the Electronic Market Making/Trading Business to build the next-gen electronic trading system, driving operational excellence and ensuring maximum uptime.
