Weapon System Design Engineer

We are working with a leading defense technology organization that is seeking a Weapon System Design Engineer to join their innovative engineering team. If you're passionate about designing and commissioning hardware and software for cutting-edge missile and weapon systems, this opportunity is for you.

Salary: Dependent on experience

Location: Stevenage or Bristol (Relocation package may be available)

Working Model: Hybrid, 2-4 days per week on-site due to workload classification

The opportunity:

As part of the team, you’ll collaborate with platform providers across Land, Air, and Naval sectors to integrate state-of-the-art weapons. You’ll contribute to ensuring that front-line users have the tools, products, and information needed to tackle emerging and evolving threats.

Key areas of expertise we are looking for:

• Network and Communications
• Cyber Protection and Certification
• Synthetic Environment and Simulation
• Algorithm Design for Mission Planning and Command & Control (including AI techniques)
• Human Factors and Ergonomics
