Loan Asset Management Associate

Our client, a commercial real estate lender focusing on middle market loans throughout Europe, is

seeking to recruit an associate into the asset management arm of the business.

The associate will work directly with the Managing Director to manage commercial real estate loans across all asset classes in Western Europe. This candidates will work alongside an exceptionally strong team and will cover all aspects of transactions. We welcome applications from individuals with a background in real estate debt or real estate valuation with a solid track record in analysis. The role will be based in London covering the European markets.

Responsibilities:

• Primary role is to manage the portfolio of commercial real estate loans across Europe.
• Analysis of borrower reports, business plan as well as due diligence package and ensure compliance with the loan covenants.
• Preparation of quarterly performance reporting for the funds investors and lenders including be responsible for the quarterly update and maintenance of the portfolio performance model.
• Restructuring of loans, if necessary, review legal amendments and prepare credit committee submissions
• Liaising with external third parties (Investors, Lenders, Servicers, Valuers etc.)
• Working closely with the originations, legal and finance teams.

Background of candidate:

• 3-4 years of industry experience in real estate finance
• Strong academic credentials (minimum of Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Banking, etc.)
• Strong analytical skillset (excel and modelling are essential)
• London-based, willing to travel (Europe)
