I am supporting an established and well known pharmaceutical organisation on their hunt for a permanent Senior Automation Engineer to join the team.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing SOPs and other documentation related to Process Control Systems throughout the operational lifecycle.
• Responding promptly to reports of manufacturing system issues, troubleshooting in collaboration with the Manufacturing team and other engineering disciplines.
• Management of third party vendors.
• Developing/implementation of hardware and software solutions in compliance with SOPs/the site's Automation Policy.

You will bring the following:

• Proficient in PLC-based unit operations, including graphical interfaces and data collection, with knowledge of integrated process control for both batch and continuous production systems.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens or Rockwell products such as PCS7, WinCC, Studio 5000, and FT View SE.
• Performed system version upgrades.
• Adhered to system maintenance programs.
• Skilled in maintaining and upgrading PLC or DCS control systems.
