Operational Resilience Manager

A market leading Investment Manager is searching for Operational Risk/Operational Resilience Specialist to join their Business Risk team.

Within this role, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the operational resilience framework across EMEA, ensuring all regulatory obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Risk:

• Embed and maintain the operational risk framework across all business functions.
• Investigate operational risk events, conduct root cause analysis, and implement control improvements.
• Identify process weaknesses, propose solutions, and re-engineer processes to enhance controls.
• Conduct risk assessments, self-assessments, and integrate ESG/climate change risks into the framework.
• Support operational risk reporting and leverage Tableau for effective communication.

Operational Resilience:

• Manage and update the business continuity policy and procedure
• Develop and execute the business continuity testing program for EMEA
• Oversee third-party risk management across the region, including due diligence and vendor onboarding
• Enhance the operational resilience program in line with FCA and CBI regulations
• Lead DORA implementation across EMEA entities
• Champion the IT Risk Framework implementation and collaborate with Information Security for cyber resilience
• Act as a subject matter expert on resilience and upcoming regulatory changes

Who You Are:

• Operational Risk and Resilience experience gained within asset/investment management firm
• Excellent relationship-building skills with stakeholders across the organization
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented mindset
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
